Publication

Conference proceedings will be published open access under the terms of the CC BY Attribution 4.0 International license in the Springer Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering that is indexed by SCOPUS, EI Compendex, and INSPEC and evaluated by Web of Science for the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI).

Authors from industry, academia and research institutions are invited to submit original scientific contributions to the conference. Submitted papers must follow the provided Springer template and author guidelines except where deviations are specified by the organizing committee (e.g. page limits). Full manuscripts of up to 8 pages will be accepted. Submissions should include 5 keywords related to the conference topics. All abstracts and submitted full papers will be peer reviewed by the international scientific committees.

Presentation instructions

Schedule and time slot:

• The presentation schedule is available in the online program menu.
• Some browsers (e.g., Safari on iOS) may not display abstracts, we recommend Google Chrome or Firefox for best results.
• Duration: 15–20 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A.

Presentation file preparation:

• You may present your research using your own laptop (it must support HDMI interface) or the onsite computer.
• If using the onsite computer, submit your PowerPoint file and a PDF backup at least one session before your slot via email (carv-mcpc2025@uni-siegen.de), the help desk, or with USB drive to the session chair.

To ensure a smooth publication process, all submissions must adhere to the Springer author guidelines, except where other details are provided by the conference organizers, in which case these take precedence over the Springer author guidelines (e.g. submission page limit).

Please consider that all camera-ready paper submissions must be accompanied by a signed copyright form during final submission. The copyright form must be uploaded in the PDF format. Note that only when the review phases have completed and your paper is accepted for publication will it be possible to upload both the required source file(s) and copyright form.

Guide to Abstract submission

1. Click on this link to launch EquinOCS, which is the submission portal on Springer Nature.
2. Click on the Submit Now button.
3. Register or login to the platform.
4. Click again on the Submit Now button.
5. Choose CARV 2025 or MCPC 2025 as category.
6. Enter title, abstract (up to 250 words) and five keywords.
7. Do not upload a PDF file, yet.
8. Accept the Terms of Use and click on the Submit Paper button.

Guide to Full Paper submission

1. Click on this link to launch EquinOCS, which is the submission portal on Springer Nature.
2. Login to the platform.
3. Click on the Your Submissions button.
4. Click on the Submit New Version button.
5. Click on the Delete File button to upload new version.
6. Upload the Manuscript PDF.
7. Accept the Terms of Use and click on the Submit Paper button.
